Further Shri Sekhri noted, “We have been witnessing double digit growth from the last few months. The cumulative RMG exports for the period April- December 2024-25 is 11.6% over April-December 2023-24. We are also doing quite good with our FTA partners. Even the state supportive policies are helping the sector. The latest support through the Union Budget 2025-26 has also brought the labor- intensive export sector to the focus by credit support to the MSMEs and custom duty rationalization. Also, a mission to negotiate the tariff and non- tariff barriers and review of financial regulations facilitating ease of doing business has laid a strong foundation for aspirational growth.”

Further Shri Sekhri noted, “ The event will celebrate this successful partnership with participation from 110 countries and a large number of global brands and retail chains. The presence of international delegations will further strengthen India’s positioning as a reliable partner in the global textile market. Memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and strategic partnerships forged during the event are expected to pave the way for increased foreign investments and joint ventures in the sector. The event will feature exhibitions, knowledge sessions, thematic discussions, G2G meetings, B2B networks, MoUs, product launches, and interactive pavilions. It will attract top policymakers, global CEOs, international exhibitors, and buyers, Chairman AEPC observed.

Bharat Tex-2025 aims to establish itself as a premier international platform for the industry.
