  Health Screening Camp Organized at AEPC  
     
 

Gurgaon, 14th February 2012

Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) an apex body of garment exporters organized a health screening camp today at its head office in Gurgaon as part of its CSR Initiatives. The camp was inaugurated by Shri Ashok Logani, Vice Chairman, AEPC (Eastern Region) in the presence of Secretary General, AEPC, Dr. Amarendra Sahoo.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Logani said, “I am delighted that a health screening camp is organised at AEPC and all must take advantage of this opportunity. Such camps are indeed important for the employees as first of all it is free of cost and secondly they get aware of many health related issues that they are facing.”

The camp had 2 general physicians, 1 gynecologist, 1 ophthalmologist and 1 pathologist. The camp had over 100 people attending and getting their health checked.

AEPC has till date organised 143 health camps all across India at the member apparel industries making aware approximately 22,000 workers about their health.

The attendees were very happy with such an initiative by the organization and thanked the seniors for the same.
